BMW Motorrad Sales Up for August 2013
Bolstered by strong sales of the R1200GS, BMW Motorrad enjoyed record-breaking sales figures for August 2013.

August 2013 proved to be another record-breaking month for BMW Motorrad sales worldwide, with the propeller brand marking a 4.2% increase in the number of units delivered compared to the same period in 2012. Year-to-date sales are up as well, and BMW reached an all-time high of 83,890 units sold through August 2013, a 9.3% jump over last year’s figures.

BMW Motorrad Head of Sales and Marketing, Heiner Faust, offered these comments in a company press release: “Despite the generally challenging conditions that characterized the European market in particular, we have still managed to achieve record sales in August. This builds on the continuing positive demand for our motorcycles and maxi-scooters, in particular the brilliant success of the new R 1200GS. We have never sold so many units of a new model in the first six months of sales. We have delivered 19,083 new R1200GS motorcycles throughout the world since the bike’s market launch in March 2013.
This gives us the impetus for the coming months, driving us to set a new record for the year as a whole. Our model offensive continues unabated. No fewer than five new models will be unveiled to the public in the coming months. The production version of the first BMW electric-scooter will make its world debut at the IAA Car Show in Frankfurt, starting 10 September 2013. This sees BMW Motorrad starting a whole new chapter in the area of “urban mobility”. The BMW electric-scooter combines sheer pleasure and dynamism on the road with the benefits of a zero-emissions vehicle, creating a new kind of experience on two wheels. As part of the BMW Group, we will exploit the synergy effects with BMWi. Among other things, we will use the same storage modules and electronic components as the new BMW i3.”

Sales suffered in the United States, however, and BMW Motorrad USA reported a decrease of 4.6% for August compared to last year. The R1200GS was the most popular model in the States in August, with 160 units delivered followed by the S1000RR which had 147 units delivered. Year-to-date figures are still positive in the US, with BWM Motorrad holding a 17.5% improvement in sales over the same eight-month period in 2012.

2010 KTM 530 EXC Review
Dual-sport cycles, by distinction, are experts of none. Typically melted, civil and neutered, they have never switched on serious individuals. That remaining debris individuals struggling to leap through qualifications loopholes to get ample light and permit clothing secured to their competitors enduro or motocross cycles. In a strong switch KTM produced its ever-popular four-stroke EXC series with complete DOT qualifications a few a long time ago. The hottest version of that preferred particular certain dog breed is this a long time KTM 530 EXC.

KTMs wholesome operate is covered in a Cr-Mo structure, with WP forks up entry (11.8" of travel) and KTM’s straightforward, non-linkage raise suspensions (13.2" of travel). Despite its dual-sport legality, the program is spec’d with appropriate springtime and damping prices for off-road sporting. Actually, small operate has been done to create the cycle DOT appropriate. The big variations between the EXC and its off-road relatives lie in DOT accepted Metzeler knobby wheels, pollutants warm and friendly carburetor jetting, higher gearing and a silent fatigue.

How successful is this cycle to ride? On the neighborhood, the remedy is ‘not very.’ Gearing is large, enabling straightforward operates at standard road prices. But this is a debris cycle first and major, so it vibrates, wiggles, lurches and is frequently unpleasant to experience when constrained into the streetbike position. That will not mean it’s not fun to experience the 530 EXC on the neighborhood, because it is. It’s a huge range actually, because the KTM is large, torquey, quick and attracts looks like a fluff (Red Bull?) in a the far east store. The wheels are wonderful, considering the restricted hold of knobby wheels on road. The electric instrumentation is not exactly set up, but provides enough information to keep you out of problems. The showcases are unclear, large and difficult. There are no person pegs, nor is there a big fat seat or a big fat gas container. This is a debris cycle, a serious debris cycle, with just enough neighborhood products to fulfill the experts. Being debris individuals, those disadvantages as a neighborhood cycle are good with us. Anything more would be unwanted, and care we say it…dorky. The KTM 530 EXC is most definitely not dorky.

2011 Aprilia Tuono V4R Review

It a sunny morning in Valencia, and are at the Ricardo Tormo circuit sipping coffee while listening to the roaring 20 V4 powered Tuonos must be heated to Pit Lane. One of them is mine, all mine, because the day is devoted to the mechanics - I get treated like the star of MotoGP.
I will start the first session with the traction control set at a level six, and then subtracts one each round until they are down a level. 2011 Aprilia Tuono V4R is a bit a shock to the system, because it pulls like a raging bull all over, and stops as if the freight train suddenly started to play again. When I finished second 20 minute session I feel a hand pump and the threat of a cramp in his left foot every time you brake hard. My mechanic has made some changes to the rear suspension, the bike has changed a lot and I did a lot of hard driving easier.

When I finished second 20 minute session I feel a hand pump and the threat of a cramp in his left foot every time you brake hard. My mechanic has made some changes to the rear suspension, the bike has changed a lot and I did a lot of hard driving easier.

V4 engine, taken directly from the RSV4 Superbike R, Tuono costumes complete with the absolute abundance of power. Aprilia has just de-tuned a little , to only 13 horsepower less than RSV4 Tuono R is hard physical work, when it hits the laps more than they really had to push me forward to keep the bike after the hanging the handlebar. Thunder chews all the short straight at Ricardo Tormo circuit than anything else, and soon it feels like the whole circuit is one of the corners in a row on the long start / end of the straight.
APR with the traction control can accelerate the onset of the lean Great security, and even at level one, it feels safe, even if some nice slip away from most of the curves. The only place in the Valencia circuit, where there is a moment of relaxation is directly downward, but also a formidable force and the wind pushes you back until its time to brake while moving down the screen .
Later that day I decided to travel to short shifter more quickly to save my arms from the trunk, and it almost felt like I was a little slower. The three reports below on the Tuono R is less than the RSV4 and it hurts! Because of the significant rapid changes I made my way all the way up to sixth on several occasions. The slipper clutch is just as good to break hard to second ahead of the fast left-hander at the end of the straight line. So, everything is full throttle and smooth and a little wheelie all over again.
The Aprilia Tuono R V4 April we drive on the track was fitted with Pirelli Diablo Corsa 200/55-ZR17 rear tires and spare clutch and brake, which makes it even better than the standard I later, riding on the road. The rear tire section 200 simply offers so much grip, but still brutal Tuono makes mincemeat of that too given half a chance.
Angles are certainly in the Superbike standard and there is not much on this bike outside the wide handlebars and the absence of a dress that looks like a streetfighter. The bike that I can not imagine being able to compete ethically Ducati Streetfighter and has 17 fewer horses. MV Agusta Brutale is too soft compared to this.
In spite of going as hard as I could, or dared, Thunder is composed of only one machine and it is incredibly safe. I can not imagine never go wrong wrong with this bike, because it provides the pilot of mercy and forgiveness just spits back, "You can not drive faster than me?" Thunder is for those of us who want to go fast on road and track, and no one will ever find this bike boring. This is a testosterone on two wheels.

I have never ridden a nude that feels like a stable or suitable for race track as soon as April Tuono V4R regime 10K rpm climb above there is a high-tech exhaust sound, style, roaring mighty V4 MotoGP exciting . The rev limiter was set at 12,300 revolutions per minute, which can over-rev 800rpm if necessary. You will be surprised at the power of the medium Tuono is about 7000 rpm. The decline in the three gear ratios below simply reinforces the arm-wrenching acceleration. The Tuono is high and wide track provides a relaxing stay on the road, but on the ground, V4 engine ensures that you get your arm movement.

The V4 Tuono R APR has all the RSV4 Factory APRC SE was so involving a wheelie control the sweetness landings. On the road, this is not the easiest bike to wheelie because of Ride-by-wire and the sudden explosion of power. I had fun on the road by pulling up with pure power in second gear to anything between 60 and 75 km / h and just went as far as I could or revolutions. The Tuono is certainly a great bike wheelie. Traction Control to be disabled, or you will be disappointed, as the system quickly brings you back to earth. The traction control works by pressing the + or - on the left handlebar, while on the go.
So I stayed in track mode for all my laps around the circuit, the path of the road, I was in standard TAE Tuono V4R with 190/55 tires at the rear, levers and the traction control standard placed in a higher level and mode of behavior of the sport, which reduces the pair of lower gears. I played around with the traction control and find three levels to be really good for our horse in the mountains. It adds a security level of traction control. Later I changed the setting to have fun and also a horse. Riding hard on the corners with traction control is updated may not be enough to save a situation of gravel and oil, so I needed more traction control to turn a relatively secure.
The only thing APR does not accept or even have ABS brakes. Reliable sources tell us that Aprilia will start something good for the segment of ABS racing soon. I had a few moments on the brakes because they never reach speeds fast enough to make the brakes and tires, as well as work on the road or track. The Tuono V4R is a bit of the few on the road, so I recommend people to use the traction control with good results.
The seat is hard and not very pleasant, it does not take too many miles before I felt a little tree in my muscles seat. The Tuono is the kind of compromise, but it is miles more comfortable than the RSV4 superbike R. The Tuono is Roadbike V4R lead runner for a super sport, but with a more upright riding. Because I tell you the power and manipulation is there.

Conclusion
2011 Aprilia Tuono V4R April is perhaps the most extreme type Streetbike Street Fighter ever made. Aprilia have upped the stakes a lot. V4 engine and its 167 horses is one of the best bargains, and its handling is exemplary. Oh, yeah, V4R thunder is so good.

Super Power SP 70 Review

With smart engineering and innovative intelligence, Super Power has made an effort to bring up its newly designed SP-70CC bike to meet the present need of Pakistani bike riders. The company has followed the same fundamentals and standards which are already famous in Pakistan for designing and shaping the bike. The bike is virtually identical while comparing it with other company’s bikes. But obviously to promote the product, one has to bring in something more innovative and stylish that differentiate it with others and appeal to the users eyes. Well, one thing is of immense importance to edify here that Super Power is declared as winner of FPCCI export award 2010. Its bikes are available in black and red colors with stylish stickers on the body. SP-70CC has different indicators and brake light but the headlight is same as others. Its indicators and brake lights are illuminated with LEDs and the indicators are comparatively big in size with complete blinking facility from back and front side. Rests of the bikes have their back side cover with silver foil. The black SP-70CC model has its mudguards even in black, gives a different look from others. Now unfolding its facts internally, the bike is designed traditionally with same fuel capacity tank, suspension system, and engine and torque rate. As such there is nothing worth in it that makes it different from others internally. What I feel is that, companies should design something different with sporty look so that there should be a change to the eyes. You can visit the entire bike market and compare the Super Power SP-70 CC price in Pakistan with them for buying the bike with least prices.

New Aprilia RS 50

The aggressive lines of the new Aprilia RS 50 are enhanced by a new, wind tunnel tested fairing, with a sporty modern design. This fairing is very similar to that of the RS 125 which won the 2006 Design Award.
Twin headlights give superior visibility and contribute to the aggressive racing styling of this incredible 50.
A streamlined, slender tail completes the Aprilia RS 50’s racing image and also hides the expansion chamber of the under-seat exhaust, another feature taken from the world of racing, that dramatically improves balance and weight distribution.
A 13 litre fuel tank and miserly fuel consumption mean that the Aprilia RS 50 has an amazing autonomy. Even the new tank shape conveys the bike’s racing spirit: the tank appears to sit on the twin beam frame just like the tanks of genuine GP racers.
